Resize one image for every platform

Upload one image and get it cropped or fitted to the sizes each platform asks for, from Instagram portraits to YouTube thumbnails. It all happens in your browser.

How it works

How to use it

  1. Choose your image

    Pick a photo or graphic.

  2. Pick fit and focus

Fill the frame to crop, or show the whole image on a background. Choose what to keep in frame.

  3. Download

Save one size, or every size in a zip. JPEGs are compressed to fit each platform's file limit.

Tips

  • Posting tools can only send Instagram JPEGs between 4:5 and 1.91:1. The 3:4 size works in the app only.
  • Bluesky caps images at 2 MB. The resizer compresses JPEGs until they fit.
  • "Show the whole image" with a blurred background keeps the full picture without black bars.
  • Keep faces and text near the middle so square and vertical crops don't cut them off.

FAQ

Common questions

Are my images uploaded?

No. Resizing happens in your browser, and your image never reaches our servers.

JPEG or PNG?

JPEG for photos: smaller files, and it's what Instagram's posting tools require. PNG for graphics with sharp text or flat colors.

What's the difference between fill and fit?

Fill crops the edges so the image covers the whole frame. Fit shows the whole image and fills the empty space with a blurred copy, white or black.

Why does one size say it only works in the app?

Instagram's app accepts 3:4 photos, but its official tools for scheduling apps only accept 4:5 to 1.91:1. If you post with a scheduler, use 4:5.

How big can files be?

Limits range from 2 MB on Bluesky to 50 MB for YouTube thumbnails. The table below lists every platform.
